New points and dimmers are wired in where needed, then each pendant is hung, cut to length and levelled so drops are consistent and everything lines up cleanly.
TEST, DIM & TIDY UP
We test the circuit and dimmer, check the throw of light across the space, make any final height tweaks and clean up so you're left with just the finished look.

How high should pendant lights hang over a kitchen island?
As a rule of thumb, the bottom of the pendant sits around 70 to 85 cm above the benchtop, but it depends on ceiling height, the fitting and your eye line. We position each one so it lights the bench without blocking sightlines, and adjust the drop on site before final fix.
Can you install pendants where there is no light point?
Yes. We can run new wiring and add ceiling points wherever you want pendants, including over a new island bench, dining table or stairwell, and add a dimmer or extra switch at the same time.
Can you space and level a row of pendants evenly?
Absolutely. Getting a row or cluster evenly spaced, level and hung at a consistent height is where most DIY jobs fall down. We measure, mark and mount them so the finished look is straight and balanced.
Do you supply the pendant lights or do I buy them?
Either works. Many customers buy the pendants they love and we install them, or we can supply quality fittings to suit your space. Just let us know and we will sort the rest.
Can pendant lights be put on a dimmer?
In most cases yes, provided the globes and fittings are dimmable. We match a compatible dimmer to the fittings so you get smooth, flicker-free control over the mood of the room.
